European Championships in TeamGym

The European Championships in TeamGym take place in Espoo from 14–17 October 2026, bringing youth and adult teams from across Europe to Finland to compete for the European titles. The TeamGym community returns to Finland after a 30-year break – the first European Gymnastics TeamGym Championships were held in Jyväskylä in 1996.

TeamGym is a fast-paced team sport combining gymnastics, acrobatics, strength and close cooperation. At the championships, teams compete in three different disciplines: floor, tumbling and trampoline. The sport highlights seamless teamwork, energy and spectacular performances.

More than 10,000 spectators are expected to attend the 2026 European Championships, creating an international atmosphere throughout the event. The competition week offers excitement for long-time TeamGym fans as well as those discovering the sport for the first time.

The European Championships in TeamGym bring four days of international-level gymnastics, impressive performances and teamwork to Espoo. The event offers a chance to experience one of the most spectacular team disciplines in gymnastics up close.
